Even if thats true, I dont see why you brought up evene. I also dont see why you wouldnt vote hoopy given the two wagons, and also POE. You aint acting like villa gabe either btw, but I promised not to rely to heavily on meta this game.

i think the fact that his posts have a total lack of substance are why he is able to post. he's not so much playing the game (because, by his personality, he feels he is unable to do so as a wolf), but he is sitting at the table, commenting in ways that are neither constructive nor destructive to those of us playing the game.

some history on rilla: he HATES playing wolf. he has said many times he doesn't think he can do it and that he thinks playing a good villager is antithetical to playing a good wolf. the last time he was a wolf, he was basically paralyzed and crash n burned. iirc he self-voted near the end just to put himself out of his misery. normally we would have been pissed at somebody for doing this, but rilla got a pass because he's a beloved member of the forum. contrast this to the fact that he is an active, prodding, and analytical villager. he has every tool a good villager needs and uses them spectacularly. but when he's a wolf, man, he doesn't even want to play. i understand the sentiment because im somewhat similar.

if ong's a wolf, it means he's trying to win by trying to lose, because it would mean he knows that rascal is the seer and that after the seer dies, ong would probably get shot or lynched or at least heavily scrutinized. a few games ong did somethign similar back when we were wolves together, but that was different. our loss was already confirmed in our minds, so as a group we all decided to crazy fps for the purpose of fun, with a teeny tiny caveat that once in a million years it could get us the win. wolfong going after seerrascal is not exactly that.

i'll go back over bid's posts. i remember on first read i noticed some villy things.

cory the thing about bid is, well, nobody can explain him. he does stuff that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. it has nothing to do with his intelligence, as the guys is pretty smart. but if the average ww player is general relativity, bid is quantum mechanics.

i read 2/3rds of bid's posts and have confirmed he is a villager. one of the only reads i think is accurate about him is that he plays his cards up in a freudian kind of way. like when he's the seer he constantly posts about how he's worried about dying. well, this game he has said many times how people think he's a bad player and he gets no respect and he doesn't like it. that's his villager mind talking. if he was a wolf he wouldnt be thinking about that.

Just got back to the hotel.

I peeked SuperMonkeyFace as villager last night. Based on the state of the game when I made that peek, I doubt that he would be tailored, so I feel pretty good about SuperMonkeyFace being villa.

I was able to read thru the thread last night, but not do a full analysis. Here's my reads for now:

Kami - Pretty much lock clear villa because of Hoopy pushing for her lynch in #932 after I hard claimed and my wagon lost steam.
SuperMonkeyFace - Peeked villa N1. Only peek to trust for remainder of game.
Cory/Baudib/ShipItUp - Villas in that order based on their Hoopy vote and the timing of their vote.
OngBonga - Leaning villa, I doubt he pushes my hard claim as much as he did there if he was a wolf.

BankitDrew - Neutral, no strong read on him.
Wufwugy - Neutral, I normally read him wolfy in either role. I'm not getting much of a read either way on him.

Gabe - was leaning slightly wolfy, but don't know now that he's claimed angel. ???

I need some questions answered to make a read on JKDS and Rilla.

im talking about my personality as a player. for most of my history, i REALLY didnt want to lose, so i would play very aggressively and get people to follow my lead. this isn't a good strategy for the village, and it's probably not a good strategy for my own ability to read, but it was something i was comfortable with.

by now im basically "over" werewolf. this game has been a sort of "prove to myself" type of thing. after the game where boog me monstr and daven were wolves, even though i was doomed from the start, i feel like i played a stronger wolf game than should have been expected, i felt satisfied with what ive accomplished in werewolf.

so now im here for fun, not to boost my ego by adding to the kill column. if im in f3 (that means final three right?) and i bold the other villager and we lose, im not going to lose any sleep at night. two years ago i would have.

JKDS and Evene are interesting. They're both very similar in that they're very capable players, both been under the radar a bit. I don't know if this post restriction isa factor for Evene or not.

I kinda like Evene's posts. Nothing that would be overly difficult to say as a wolf but thoughtful. I wouldn't lynch her.

JKDS is less impressive than I thought. I don't like his push on SMF, although I grow considerably less comfortable with him the longer he stays AFK.

do you think you have any villagery posts this game, Rilla? I'm surprised you actually have like 30 of them. I think Evene and JKDS have had more impact.

Like, I can't see how I would lynch Evene over JKDS when they're essentially the same at this point, except Evene has superior content, pending possibly incoming #hottakes from JKDS.

i ascertained that much but the bigger issue is that this doesn't prevent him from being a wolf

i know on other sites i've played on i've seen some weird-thinking heteroclitic players act doofy and everyone just goes "oh that's [player] being [player] don't worry about it" but that doesn't change that they rand wolf sometimes

but i'm not too concerned, one of the issues with being that sort of player is that you are always in the PoE and in a game where we are this ahead i doubt he could ever win as a wolf

I agree. I was struggling with who to peek. I figured I'd be blocked, but vig took care of that. Peeks are no good any more now. I've essentially been vanillaized again. (I was vanillaized by the wolves as the cop/seer in the MU game referenced earlier).
