Default 10nl A6o BvB trips on flop

Villain is 52/38/8 over 130 he doesn't 4bet as far as ive seen, or donk in 3bet pots, he has called (5/7)cbets in 3bp's, and raised 2, once w/ mid set.

otherwise he's really not spazzy, but opens almost any unraised pot, and only folds to 3/8 3b's., folds flop cbet= 25%, and T= 20%. probablt calling any draw out to river.

So, he could really be peeling this flop w/ a ton of shit. Im hoping a Q,

What do you guys think about his turn donk, and what line would you take?

    A little bigger OTF

    Raise turn to $3.90

Turn donk looks like begging for a cheap card with a flush draw. Sometimes it's also an attempt to induce a raise with a nutty hand like QQ or 33.

Bigger OTF for pure value vs. an topp' who doesn't fold much? is that the idea

I ended up raising T to $3.50, he folded. I wouldn't expect him to fold a flush draw there even to a shove.

Yes a little bigger (like: your standard cbet 2/3rd to 3/4 pot). You get value from flush draws, queens, lower trips and probably pocket pairs or AK who won't give up so easily on a paired flop.

He folded, so it was probably a blocking bet trying to get cheaply to showdown with a PP, or trying to get a cheap card with AK, or maybe he decided that it was too big to call with a flush draw, who knows.

Are the stats all based on 3-handed play? If so, playing half the hands is different compared to if the table was full and recently shortened. That said, I bet .80, .90, maybe even 1 otf. Most times, there's a fair bit of flexibility in how much a person will call if he's going to call at all. You're well ahead of his range even if you make it somewhat on the narrow side, so try to extract more value.

OTT, since you think he's calling with a flush draw, bet somewhat more. If he already has a monster, you're likely to lose a big pot anyway, so make him pay to draw.

Maybe squeeze an extra bb on the flop, raise to ~$3 on turn.

No, all stats were not 3-handed. almost all are 6handed

Interesting point on the flop bet. i was going to bet .80, but decided on.70 .

sizing doesnt matter too much just raise to give a fd slightly bad odds, this spot is not a leak as long as you raise and is not something you should be focused on when looking for massive leaks.

people's play with monsters is rarely if ever the cause of massive leaks in poker

also. call me rude on irc one more time. pls.

I'm going to do a search through my data here soon. Work has been super-busy. I'd like to find a string of problem hands covering different areas to post.

It's a really bad idea to to 3bet this particular hand in this spot. Villein doesn't fold much, this hand plays really badly postflop and is dominated by his continuing range.

He usually has XhXh when he leads the turn so I'd raise to amount that makes calling with a flush draw a mistake i.e. big.
