The reason for that is you haven't really started playing the game. I avoid stuff like that for similar reasons but it's pretty stupid to say it's bad.

I feel like I gave it a chance. I logged something like 5-6 hours, and spent every minute frustrated and disappointed.

Depends how you go about it you can literally spend tens of hours doing nothing or any real relevance. It's one reason why I don't like such open world RPGs. Like with most long forms of media they can seem a little impenetrable at first.
