It's called negative variance. If you're consistently getting it in bad and losing, you're doing it wrong. If you're getting it in good and losing, you're doing it right. You can't control variance, don't let it bother you.

Take the break you need, but you have the most potential of anyone active in the BC right now (In my opinion, based on hands posted and the level of discussion you induce), so don't get too down.

If you're pissed about an 8 buyin swing then get the fuck out of poker. That's an insult.

Sorry, it's the biggest downswing I have had in such a short time, not really used to it.

Oh yeah, I forgot you play 6max. Dude, 6max has way more brutal variance than FR. If you can't handle the swings then switch to FR and see how that goes.

When you consider the magnitude of a loss, you're best served to consider it in the context of how much you've played and how much money you've put into play.

It's unfortunate to have a bad day at the tables but at the same time it does happen. Can't have a good day every day even thou it would be nice.Follow your gut and if a break is what is needed then do so.Shit happens and you have to go with the flow.Put your life on track and go with the punches, don't think it will get any better any time soon. |

Maybe try a different game like PLO for a while, see how that goes...
