imo the bigger mistake is assuming an unknown is 4betting to resteal. You need better reads to make this assumption.
I'd probably pay this guy off here if he has us dominated, because I'm making the mistake of assuming a 4bet of this size is not KK+ as often as it would be had he 4bet smaller. But I'd pay him off once and then note his 4bet size so I'm getting better reads in future.
