I'm not sure how the wolves thought I was the angel , I never would of said DtBs not likely the angel if I was. Carroters was great had no clue, thought he was a villager forsure, the only thing I should of caught is the other games I played where you were a villager you were always pretty vocal when you were certain someone was also a villager, but not this game

oh yea, that brings me to another carrots post that gave him away, his dumb "Oh wow, the wolves interpreted something as angel-y, when i intepreted it as wolfy" i was like.....sure buddy.

It is stupid not just because you could easily be capable of leveling, but because we don't even want to add that dimension to the game.

I mean, I don't want to even include the dimension of paying attention to who is on when or who has been visiting or visited by the mod profile, etc etc. But those are sort of naturally a part of the game since we play it on this forum.

this is true, it was my primary reason for being skeptical of TLR . I still think its funny how i was like "obvious they are leaving good players alive "and rill caomes in "NO NO THEY ARE ANGEL HUNTING" is what gave him away to me, its like well on night 1 you didnt know the seer and you went for ong, and on night 2 you know the seer and go for JV...doesnt seem like angel hunting imo

uh actually i said it didnt clear carrots during the game, and on the last day before any roles were revealed i said carrots and hoopy or rilla were the last 2 wolves....so both things were said prior to game being done.....also i said that DTB's list didnt have any wolves on it during the game too....

that being said....i didnt do shit this game and the victory obviously goes to Benny/TLR/Boog.

It's probably best to avoid dick measuring. You did good. Different games are different, but each game is hugely variable. For example, the wolves dens first two main noms were Benny and TLR, but for some reason we went with Ong, then everything went downhill. Had you not come out, you probably would have been eaten on night 2, had you not looked me up TLR would have been nommed quickly because he was the only player I was gunning for because I felt he was the most likely player who wouldn't find reasons to believe my defense posts, and I wanted him dead within three days. The littlest of change, the biggest of differences. Thus is WW. We were very excited with our team because all good players and strong dynamic, but sometimes no can defend special powers

I must thank you though, my defense post was good enough for the next five games, so I'm gonna just fuck around here on out. Not sure I could ever get over the butthurt of the village dropping off my wagon then the BennyLaDouche Trollface pops up

I'd like to say to Gator, you used phrasing that suggested that you think I think you "skated" to victory in the last game. You didn't, you played exceptionally. My comments were about pointing the fingers at the village for dropping the ball on letting you live, not because of how you played, but simply because of the dynamic of the game. I'm at least as much to blame for helping create a dynamic where you tricked everybody else, but I was mad because I tried really hard in that game so I pointed fingers when I shouldn't have


Also, we might want to go over rules about living players posting in the dead thread or using posts from the dead thread. I like that everybody can post in there, but the whole "is wuf chatting with the wolves still" was not good. That is a trick that wolves could use, but mostly wouldn't, and I think that both boog and philly should have shot up in the villager category simply because they asked that question. I very nearly gave it away by responding with a "no". Regardless, maybe I dont care, maybe it's all in the game, but I do like having an active dead thread, it's just that living players need to not use it for game stuff

I am sorry, i have said multiple times now that i did not do anything very special this game and that i am simply doing mental gymnastics to trick myself into thinking i am.

That being said there were some things i was right about (i clearly did have the game figured out on some level being as my final 3 suspects had the final 2 wolves in it).

Either way, i am sorry for being so obnoxious, just super stoked for the village.

Not sure I buy the timing thing. I also don't buy the "he's playing differently" thing. At least for me, I refresh the page a lot, but mostly don't do anything when I do, and I bet that if you evaluate all the times people are acting differently, yet aren't specials, it's >90%. That was a sick catch on DTB though

Good strategy or not, it's something that gets a lot of attention and is easy to take advantage of. After you were so active and did well the last game, it was just too much of an about face to not gain notice.

It's for the better. I will forever contend that I would have played this game exactly the same as a villager, but I'm hedging for future games. I don't want to do the same shit every time. I have non-pathological pseudo-multiple personalities. One of those personalities tends to dominate my FTR persona.

Wuf and DTB really stood out as wolves, didn't pay enough attention at the end to see if I could sniff out the others (i knew some were villagers tho, like TLR) but I have to say it was nice to see the seer take control from the beginning and win the game that way... usually the seer dies and we got nothing but guesswork left, this was much better .

Benny took a big gamble in day 2 that paid off greatly and had led the village in a great way once he exposed himself as the seer

It was a different kind of game, since very quickly it came down to a numbers game, the main question was whether the wolves will kill the angel and thus the seer before benny has enough info to guarntee a win for the village, and not about wolf hunting
