I think Muzz meant Vicky Coren but I've no idea why. She's intelligent and funny. Ok, middle class, but that's hardly her fault.

it's just embarrassing watching her play poker, she talks far too much and gives away her hand a lot of the time. Also I saw her in the vic once being a bit of a cunt too.

In before 'but she won the EPT'

I remember watching a clip of her in the EPT against some live donk, think it was Barney Boatman. He made some appalling bluff on the river, repping nothing, and she took about 10 minutes explaining to the guy why his play didn't make sense.

Have you played with her in the Vic? What stakes does she play? She said after her win she would play £100 NL again lol. To be fair to her she seems like she has slightly more of a clue than most of the live play contingent in the UK claiming to be professionals and seems cool, would def hit too.

No didn't play with her at the vic, not sure what she was playing, didnt see her until I was at the cage and she was moaning about something... I'm vicky coren you know... we must all bow down and pander to all your needs. Only 'famous' guy I played vs was Colin Murray lol 600nl, he seemed to have a decent idea, but I didn't play long and He didnt get involved in the action much.

Sure she's fine away from the poker scene, just tilts me when I hear her say anything poker related. I prefer Liv anyday

About the live UK players, I think you'll find there is a lot of better UK llive play now. We don't have to put up with Rolande, Neil Channing, Ian Frazer, Devilfish, Feldman... these kind of terrible guys. Jake Cody, JP Kelly, Romanello, Trickett, Akenhead to name a few much better, plus a lot of unknowns and others I haven't mentioned.#

The Uk scene is pretty good these days methinks. Though I don't play live that much anyway. Get to the vic every now and again and DTD, but mainly for cash not donkaments.

Yeah, I just meant she had more clue than the first band of old school players you mentioned. Most of the better ones you mentioned prob play online too, no?

I've only been to the Vic once to check it out, ended up playing a tournament and taking 2nd. Did you notice the far right corner of the cardroom absolutely stinks of piss as opposed to the whole room just smelling mildy of piss?

I would love to check out the cash games there, from the look of some people I saw it must be pretty damn soft but I can't imagine anything worse than running bad over thousands of hands of live play so don't want to waste time single tabling.

Lol apparently Neil Channing crushes the 5k game. One of these days I'm going to win a big donkament and take a shot at that game.

Nope, didn't notice, Though last time I was there was March.

I still to this day have no idea how Ian Frazer has won anything in his life. Hand vs Trickett in the recent televised donkament being one of the reasons.
