Default sets vs nasty boards 10nl

ok so here are two hands just want to check what you guys do in these situations

Only read is that he crai'ed with TT on a J high flop....13/10 through 70 hands

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB ($3.54)
    BB ($10.24)
    UTG ($11.39)
    UTG+1 ($10)
    MP1 ($12.37)
    MP2 ($12.60)
    Hero (MP3) ($10.15)
    CO ($7.67)
    Button ($22.83)

    Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 7, 7
    2 folds, MP1 calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero bets $0.45, 4 folds, MP1 calls $0.35

    Flop: ($1.05) Q, 2, 7 (2 players)
    MP1 checks, Hero bets $0.90, MP1 calls $0.90

    Turn: ($2.85) 5 (2 players)
    MP1 checks, Hero bets $2.85, MP1 raises to $11.02 (All-In), Hero ???

    Preflop range-
    22-TT, KJs,KQo, A8s+, AJ, QJs, JTs

    Turn range after shove-
22, maybe 55... flushes....maybe the odd kq, or kq with a club K...AcJx (even thats a stretch)

    i am calling 5.95 to win 20.45

if i just give him 22,AcJc,AcTc,Ac9c,Ac8c,KcJc,JcTc as his range i still have 47% equity, so i guess this is a clear call?
    -------------------------

this guy is 40/23 over only 38 hands, no reads. I like never limp pp's, especially from utg but i guess i did here for some reason. and then i was getting such good implied odds i decided to play

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP1 ($3.25)
    MP2 ($10.08)
    CO ($13.09)
    Button ($11.56)
    SB ($16.35)
    BB ($19.46)
    Hero (UTG) ($11.73)
    UTG+1 ($6.20)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 5, 5
Hero calls $0.10, 3 folds, CO bets $0.24, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.14

    Flop: ($0.63) 2, 8, K (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO checks

    Turn: ($0.63) A (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO checks

    River: ($0.63) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $1, CO raises to $12.80 (All-In), Hero ?

i am having trouble amassing a range here, i guess some Ax hands (especially A5), some flushes, idk what, any thoughts?

Hand 1: call...i wud need a better read to fold there

Hand 2: preflop play sucks. your not necessarily getting such good implied odds. especially considering you have no reads and that his kinda loose and his CO. as played, fold river.

In the first hand -- that's a tough spot, but I would probably call. He's already shown unwarranted aggression in the TT c/r hand you mentioned, so you know that he has the potential to create a much larger pot than his hand deserves.

The second hand is a snap-call in my mind. Someone running 40/23, even over a small sample like that, is probably making a lot of bad decisions. In this case, he probably thinks you are trying to steal the pot with nothing or a missed flush draw. I would put a lot of air and single-club hands into his range, giving you more than enough equity to call.

That is one hell of an assumption based on so few hands and no reads. I think that pretty much is leveling yourself into a call. A 40/23 doesnt say much (especially over such small sample) besides his loose and bad preflop. Says nothing about his postflop game and if his aggressive to the point where his super spewy. Hero has no reads. Their are many bad players who cant value bet for their lives and check flop sets even on drawy boards like its the nuts and can not be beaten. Also, bad players are more likely to call ur bets light unless he has some specific read that his super spewy postflop, where in that case, they will raise ur bets light. Without further info, this is a fold on the river.

You know what, I didn't realize just how big of a raise that was. You're calling almost $12 to win $14, so without reads I would fold, too.

I don't know why, I was thinking you only needed about 35% equity, which I would call. I hope I don't make mistakes like that at the tables!

The Ac and Kc are already out so that blocks some of the flush hand combos. Even still, he's playing loose PF and could have all kinds of suited crap. I agree with these guys that the raise is too big to call.

I'd call both, pretty much the only reason on hand #2 is that he's running 40/23 FR so I don't really give him much respect here

Both are an easy call. Stop limping small pairs from ep.. you are just asking to get coolered. You are better off raising KQo than limping small pairs.
