I am a donk....advice
Playing at my local hall.
3 players
I get A/K off. Guy on SB raises to 50...I call, and guy on button calls.
Flop comes Q J 3 rainbow
SB guy bets 70. I call on a straight or overcard draw. IMO...my first big mistake. Turn comes, 6. Same guy bets 70 again. At this point, I call again. Big mistake - brain fart #2 this hand and the beginning of my going on tilt like a dumb f#c$. River comes Q. Guy goes all in for $140. I toss it. Guy to my left also tosses it, who also had A/K off.
Guy who won turns over A/4 off and rubs it in our faces that he bluffed us both like a complete dick. I put the guy on either a small pair, or maybe a/q, but couldn't bring myself to call with absolutely nothing.
Did I make any big mistakes other than not getting out of the hand right after the flop (and then compounding the error on the turn?)
If I'd called his all in, I'd of been down to about $200 chips from $600, and the final call would have cost me about 25% of my chips. There's no way I think I should have/could have called. The guy said he knew me and the other guy were on a draw...so what would give him that inclination? My check to him and call pattern (I think)?
