    Default I am a donk....advice

    Playing at my local hall.

    3 players
I get A/K off. Guy on SB raises to 50...I call, and guy on button calls.

    Flop comes Q J 3 rainbow

SB guy bets 70. I call on a straight or overcard draw. IMO...my first big mistake. Turn comes, 6. Same guy bets 70 again. At this point, I call again. Big mistake - brain fart #2 this hand and the beginning of my going on tilt like a dumb f#c$. River comes Q. Guy goes all in for $140. I toss it. Guy to my left also tosses it, who also had A/K off.

Guy who won turns over A/4 off and rubs it in our faces that he bluffed us both like a complete dick. I put the guy on either a small pair, or maybe a/q, but couldn't bring myself to call with absolutely nothing.

Did I make any big mistakes other than not getting out of the hand right after the flop (and then compounding the error on the turn?)

If I'd called his all in, I'd of been down to about $200 chips from $600, and the final call would have cost me about 25% of my chips. There's no way I think I should have/could have called. The guy said he knew me and the other guy were on a draw...so what would give him that inclination? My check to him and call pattern (I think)?

Reads? Stakes? Entire preflop action? Is this a tournament?

Also, this belongs in Live NL (or Tourney Poker if this is a tourney, ldo).

Ah...sorry for posting in the wrong forum...I'll post these types questions there in the future.

    Stakes: 1/3 NL Cash Game

Reads: I was in the middle position to act between these two guys. Position #1 was loose aggressive and thug wannabe. I'd already busted him out once after he went all in with snowmen. Position #3 was a much better player in my opinion and one of the reasons I chose to fold on the river with him acting behind me and a possible trap. Young asian guy who up to this point was playing tight and mostly passive.

    Action:
Preflop: P1 raises to $50, and gets a call from me & P3
    Flop: P1 bets $70, and get's call from me & P3 (Q,J,3)
    Turn: P1 bets $70, and get's call from me & P3 (Q,J, 3, 6)
    River: P1 bets all in $140, I fold, and P3 folds (Q,J,3,6,Q)

P1 is on the BB, P3 is on the button, I'm just to P3's right.

    Stack sizes:
    P1: $300
    Me: $625
    P3: $350

Sorry man. I'm still not getting it but am interested prolly due to boredom. But I think you need to start over and sort it out because the way you're telling it isn't adding up. So there are a few scenarios here with lots of untold information.

    Example:

    Preflop-

2folds, hero limps, button limps, sb folds, bb raises to 50...

    or

    Preflop-

2folds, hero raises to 10, button calls, sb folds, bb reraises to 50...etcetc...

both of those just being examples.

Those examples also discount your op which says sb was the preflop raiser.

Additionally, some info on when you busted him when he went all in "snowmen" would be good. Did he open shove? Did he shove over your raise? Did you shove and he called? What did you have?
