Well since no one has started this I figure I might as well go ahead
Won't bother posting non-cash game graphs I'll just tally it up at the end, had quite a bit of variety this month.
The bigger looking swings are 25nl, and theres some 5nl and 10nl squeezed in there for the most part as well:

Cash Games:............$300.70
SNGs:........................$ 72.50
DON SNGs:................$ 14.30
Heads up event:.......$160.00
Cash credits:.............$ 24.00
Total profit:..............$547.50
HU SNG's and donkaments sort of cancel each other out +/- a couple $.
Disclaimer: 1 week vacation with no poker + moved this month

May went quite well. I dug myself out of the hole I got myself in in April. Additionally, 10NL is improving my game and should get me ready for 25NL. Anywho, here's the graph:

The last 4-5 days have not been going too well which is the tailing off at the end. Oh well...let's do this JUNE!

F--k me...
This late month happiness includes losing a bunch of stack offs with > 75% equity, KK to AA 3 times stacked off PF (one of the subliminal motivators behind my "Fold KK" post...) and, my favorite, AA on a J6K36 board to, yes you guessed it, the guy that stacked of pre- w/ J6o.
I am thinking of pursuing a new hobby in battery recycling or asian porn...

just posted this in another thread but I'll post it here too...
the end is running bad + playing bad
still ended up with ~3 PTBB/100, with EV adjusted winrate of ~5.5 PTBB/100 (plus I am 9 tabling now)

Plan on getting in ~ 50,000 hands in June... hopefully some of which will be 25NL!! BRING IT ON

My last month posted goals:
Quote:
May Goals
- Achieve SilverStar
- Winrate of 5+BB/100
- 20k+ hands (I'm a busy guy, we'll see if I can do it)
|
Got Silver yesterday -
Winrate positive, but I fluctuated between 10NL and 25NL some, ended up at 25NL, but much less than 5BB/100 -
<20k hands, but so close I don't care -

Edit - Got to cash in $24 instant cash bonus this month, will try to do the same for June.
April Goals
-Maintian Silver
-Live at 25NL the whole month
-Winrate of 5+BB/100
-12k+ hands - I need to work on profit more than massive volume now that I'm playing higher (I'll be able to collect FPPs much quicker as long as I stay at 25NL)

Live Tourneys: +£450.00 by beating retarded drunk morons very slowly over an infuriating 7 hour 30 man tourney for the win.
I'm gonna describe this dude that was at my table for 5 hours to you guys. Imagine Hellmuth being at you're table, being in his most bratish mood, being very very drunk, and then multiply all his annoying attributes by 12.
This fucker took at least 2 minutes to act every time he folded a hand pre-flop and even longer if he was actually involved (which he was in like every fucking hand almost.) He repeatedly spouted "I re-popped you, how can you call with QQ? I fucking re pop 4 betted you man?!!" I mean even the other morons at the table including the sleeping old Irish guy could tell his 4 betting range was his entire opening range which was like 60% of hands, yet not in any order of strength.
I swear the £450 1st place payout was possibly not worth the 5 hours of this cock and if I ever see him in a bar or something he's fucking dead.
Bit of a hijack tangent, but hey, didn't play any other poker this month and sometimes I need to vent.
I'm depositing next month to start my poker career again so will have real posts soon.

EDIT: Started my own one of these so this is a copy and paste of that.
Hi guys, another one of those monthly micro review things. I think it's nice and yet not sure if people are into it, but i think it's useful to be setting goals and checking them.
Here were mine from last month:
Quote:
Goals for may:
- Play at least 15k hands
- STAY at 10 and that's it, just play there and stay. I don't care how much i win as long as i'm stable at 10
- Buy PNLH and start reading that
- Finish reading The Poker Mindset
- Stop going apeshit when i lose, by a factor of 15%
|
** another goal was to make at least $100 and i made $125 which is awesome
So... damn, only played 12k hands. About 800 less than previous month. I blame that on starting a new stake and being gentle in the beginning. Goal 2, stay at ten... did it! yey! And i didn't do any of the last 3. Damn. Not into Poker Mindset, it's just full of stuff i pretty much already know or is no surprise. I do need to buy PNLH though. I think it's coz at the moment i'm not struggling so much so there's less desperation to study. Naughty really.
Ok, a nice couple of graphs to perv at:

May was a mixture between 5nl and 10nl although only like 5% maybe.
Goals for June:
1. Converge stats. Currently 18/11, want to be around 18/14.
2. Have a go at adding 78s to my range as suggested by Robb so when i get to 25 i've got some experience of not being so polarized.
3. Continue to not limp as much. This has been coming to me quite well of late. Tonight's sesh was almost totally converged with hardly any limps at all.
4. Continue my investigation into check raising well hit flops. Also, checking behind well hit flops. So far it's been explosively +EV.
5. Decide not to give a fuck if i see monotone or not. Within reason. I slow down almost every time i see monotone (well, like the 3rd suit hits) and if i did this every time, overall, considering how often they're actually hitting there... it's -EV.
Ok chaps, post away. Keep the graphs around 7/800px wide so it can be taken in without horizontal scrolling. Post your goals and see if you can review them next month perhaps?

That's what bankroll management is for. It's no thing. Just pokerz. But I appreciate the thoughts. I've gotta a month or so off for work stuff, so you'll probably be at 50nl with me soon.

Well I just got Poker Tracker 3 on May 18th so this chart is for only half the month. In that time I won $66.40 in 8,321 hands for 7.5ptbb/100 playing 5NL.

Not bad, if I do write so myself.

Wow May started out as a total disaster. By the time I pulled my head out of my ass I was way behind. Managed to recover part of the losses and have been running well since about the 18th.

This is a nice idea, sharing me allow me to keep my sanity.
Starting building my poker stars bank roll up again in May. FTP was being mean to so im back to PS.
Started off 4 tabling .10NL, went well for the first 8K hands then usual back to back to back lost hands where im 9:1 kicked in. Decided to Multitable .02NL like and have never multi-tabled before. Im either going to make money or prove im the unluckiest bastard that ever tried to play poker. 0.02 went well until i got back up to to $100 profit again. 9000 hands with no progress at all. Makes you wonder! Made it over $110 profit line and BR of $200 then went up to .05NL on the week end. Sunday morning was good, Afternoon, not so much.
Cant post my graph as this is my first post

Not as many hands as I'd like (try to get in 10k minimum each month), though I was on holiday for 7 days so that accounts for it I guess. Should get a decent amount in this month anyway.
Still, $80 profit in just over 8k hands isn't bad for my first full month at $10NL, especially after I ran really bad at the start. I feel like I've improved my play the last few 1000 hands as well as catching a bit of a heater.

I played about 8k hands nearly break-even warming up at $5 then 3k hands running hot after I moved up to $10. I'm satisfied with May.
