So when is our retarded PM going to realise that as long as we keep schools open, transmission growth will continue? Even an idiot can look at the monthly charts and make the connection.

Secondary schools can easily deliver content online at secondary level and provide limited accommodation for vulnerable kids and those that belong to key workers. Primary school material can easily be delivered by the majority of competent parents within a couple of hours per day 1-2-1, while most employers accept they need to offer flexibility at the moment.

Half-arsed lockdown without enforcement doesn't work with the morons in the UK. Leaving the borders open so long was a disaster and every "decision" taken has no thought for how the world really works. The sooner this idiot goes, the better - I'm surprised the pressure on him hasn't already reached boiling point.

A couple of my friends are teachers. They say some of their colleagues can't work a Teams session, and a shocking number of households have no proper computer with steady internet access.

Half-arsed lockdown

The biggest running joke in the UK is the tier system. They have four tiers of increasinly greater restrictions now, none of them seem to slow the spread (certainly not t1-3, too soon to say about t4 yet), and they implement the higher tiers in areas that don't vote for them. It's so transparently bad it's not even funny.
