That very same type of motion was made by several Dems at the K hearing on Thurs. regarding an FBI investigation, and Grassley shot them down every time. It was only on Friday when Flake got involved that that idea became a reality, and barely, and at the very last possible minute.
I can't believe you wanna argue about parliamentary procedure now. What I described is NOT fantasy.
Regarding the FBI investigation, they didn't vote on the motion because they all agreed it was a matter for the full senate. You need to pay closer attention.
