More dickeheadery? Do you want to comment specifically on any of Harris's policies and explain why they are non-left?

Here's How America's Biggest Companies Are Spending Their Trump Tax Cuts (It's Not on New Jobs)
What would happen if they did spend it creating new jobs?

Are there alot of unemployed people available to fill those jobs?

McDonalds around here is hiring 14 year olds. They pay 12 bucks an hour and they're so desperate for people that they're tapping 8th graders.

I like how you take your local McDonalds' hiring practices as the barometer of the economy. Like there's no college grads out there looking at those MacD's ads and thinking 'yeah, think I'll wait for something better.'

The fact that they can wait for something better is indicative of the fact that unemployment isn't a problem.

Hence, creating jobs couldn't possibly be a super high priority for most companies.

Have you ever looked at who works at McDonalds? It's never been college grads (apart from the manager, maybe). It's either pimply-faced kids or old people who can't pay for their ear medicine.

They're not trying to "create jobs" ffs. They're trying to make money. Creating jobs is a happy by-product of that. But they won't do it if they can make more money simply by riffing the stock market.

And if you think artificially inflated stock prices are a sign of a strong economy, you need to check out the stock market of 1929. That thing was hoppin'!

I hope you remember this if we ever start debating the minimum wage.

That was the headline of the link that was given. What do you want from me?

Hopefully this time the companies learn their lesson and hoard capital reserves....oh wait!
