3600 posts and you see me as someone who "hides"? Do you know how dumb that sounds? Obviously you don't. Which explains why you don't seem to understand why you constantly get insulted for being dumb.

Be smarter.

To the point:
TC was absolutely disingenuous in asking what diversity means and in postulating that it means the more different we are, the better.
See, there you go being dumb. Contrary to the reasons you've cited, THIS is actually why we can't seem to have productive discourse. You started by saying "to the point", which to me, suggests that you are now prepared to discuss the issue honestly and in good faith. And then in the very next sentence, you completely misrepresent the issue.

TC didn't ask what diversity means. He asked "Is it true that diversity is our strength?" What you say above "that it means the more different we are, the better", is CLEARLY baked into the statement, "Diversity is our strength". TC is asking if that's true.

You either deliberately misrepresented the question, which is a sign of bad faith. Or, you just don't understand what's actually going on, which makes you dumb. So which is it?

Everyone involved in that exchange was virtue signalling past each other
What virtue is TC signaling when he asks "Is it true that diversity is our strength?"

Asking a question isn't wrong, but asking a stupid question based on some definition you just made up is not "seeking truth" as you claim.
Why is it a stupid question.

WHY is it a stupid question.

Why is it a stupid question????

What you're ignoring is that there are plenty of incredibly intelligent people on both sides of the aisle. There are also a bunch of absolute idiots on both sides. The idiots get plenty of air time, because outrage is entertainment, and ratings equal dollars. The fact that you ignore this or conveniently write it off when someone's message massages your preconceived notions is absolutely beneath your intelligence, but you do it constantly
What the fuck is this??? This is just demagoguery designed to make me look like some kind of single minded, one-sided crusader. Again, my opinion on the issue of diversity is still irrelevant at this point. What I have a problem with, is the deliberate shutting down of discourse with insidious and unfounded claims of racism. We're not talking about opposing opinions on different sides of the aisle here monkey. We're talking about ONE SIDE in particular that is going out of it's way to avoid challenging questions. If you don't see the difference, then you deserve whatever insult spews through my keyboard. Seriously man, how the fuck do you look at this situation and then shrug and say "oh well, it's really both sides contributing equally to a problem".

That political change you cited as the 5% is not coming from the political virtue signalling you see on TV.
I don't know what this means. But Obamacare was ABSOLUTELY the result of political virtue signaling on TV. The Supreme Court even called the election of 2008 "a referendum on national healthcare"
