    The next day I want back, in much worse pain. I had to sign like four new consent forms, and fill out a questionnaire about my criminal history, in addition to literally begging this bitch doctor to make me comfortable. I wanted one fucking vicodin so I could get a god damn nights sleep and they make you jump through hoops of fire.

    I did get a few pills, and so far I've not turned into a hopeless heroin junkie.

    My guess is that Big-Weed is engaged in a monopolistic conspiracy to drive pain-relieving competitors out of the market.
    Are you saying that lots of people are not addicted and ruining their lives from opioid abuse?

    I'm saying they're harder to get than gold bars, and there isn't a gold-bar crisis in this country. You do the math.

    How can someone be addicted to something that's universally unavailable?

    Like, suppose it was determined that the most dangerously addictive substance in the universe was water from Neptune. Would we be calling that a "crisis"?
