If he believes that the only way BID acts like this is if he is not vanilla, then either BID is a village PR (as he claimed in his first post, then reaffirmed later), or BID is a wolf.

The wolves have a known PR to target on N1.

If BID is alive after N1, then he is not the PR he claimed and therefore a wolf.

The Hoopy and MMM thing is part of a bigger problem of Ong constantly defending others when it's not his turn to defend others. I'm probably making a bigger thing of it than I should but it'd be nice if Ong gave others a chance to defend themselves. This isn't the Ong show.

Yeah, almost as if he's soft defending a lot to keep most of the village off his back. Like he's trying to survive Day 1.

This is true but that's also standard Hoopy. I don't find Hoopy to be particularly villagery or helpful early on in the game but I haven't seen anything wolfy from him.

I have him as firmly neutral. The playstyle on here is certainly a lot different from 5 years ago and I'm mindful of the lesson of Gizmo in the Russians Game.

Like we can't let him get away with "I'm still reading Russians" all game without giving more thoughts on the current thread forever but we can give him a day.

Obv. the wolves don't have to target you. It is the most likely move, in a vacuum, for the wolves to target anyone who isn't likely to receive votes. Multiple people have said they will not vote for you. Also, that first post of yours and the ensuing discussion has left you as claiming to be a villager, but not vanilla. So better than average odds of being just that. I.e. nom bait.

Gabe and Rilla are sounding more like themselves right now so I won't be throwing my vote on them and I still no longer think JKDS is a wolf. Something about wuf is bugging me though so I am going to go with a lynch wuf and am off to play 18 holes of golf.

fwiw recall when from last game i said that i experentially confirmed what i had thought theoretically, that attacking players who are not your current bold is a bad idea. if i hadnt done that, i think gabe dies d1 instead of d2. so that means that if i stick to what i claim i have learned, there is overall less content for me to post (since a solid proportion of it is typically attacking people im not bolded on).

philly's argument was that jkds' wagon getting big fast means that it should likely involve wolves. i pointed out the fact that it DIDNT get big fast, and what actually transpired is just villagers lots of the time.

This is definitely one of the worst D1s we've had as a village in a long time. I blame it mostly on Gabe regardless of his alignment.
