rilla and gabe talk about the word "kinda" as though that indicates a lack of conviction. I am not of the opinion that conviction is measured in words. I think context is much more important. Does gabe believe what he's saying? I don't think so, I think that as villager he would know that what rilla said was nonsense. But he jumped on it like it was the greatest read in the world. Is that what gabe calls conviction?
