i just dont get the mentality. i mean, what is going on in the minds of friendzoned guys? if ive the hots for a chick and she friendzones me (unrealistic hypothetical, i know), the last thing im going to do is spend another second with her. doing so would drive me up the wall. maybe some guys just dont think of themselves as good enough. |

Definitely much easier. But I have a tendency to sleep with girls who become my friends. Or rather they tend to want to sleep with me and I just don't put up a fight. Sometimes we remain friends, sometimes we don't.

That sounds really big headed and I don't mean it to. It's not intended as a brag. I guess if I hang out with a girl frequently enough it just tends to develop in to more without any real intention on my behalf.

Although sometimes it is myndoing, because I'll become friends with a girl who's reasonably attractive but I'm digging some other chick and then when that doesn't work out / she isn't interested I suddenly see the friend girl in a whole new light.

Being an adult doesn't imbue you with emotional maturity, but it does imbue you with responsibility for yourself and your choices, which is what I meant.

Yeah. I realize now it was more of a lamentation than a question. I didn't ever intend to bring it up. It was more of an emotional response to my past brought up by aubrey's friendzone post.

It's the most hectic, nerve-racking city. Imagine having to take the 7 Train to the ballpark looking like you're riding through Beirut next to some kid with purple hair, next to some queer with AIDS, right next to some dude who just got out of jail for the fourth time, right next to some 20-year-old mom with four kids. It's depressing. The biggest thing I don't like about New York are the foreigners. You can walk an entire block in Times Square and not hear anybody speaking English. Asians and Koreans and Vietnamese and Indians and Russians and Spanish people and everything up there. How the hell did they get in this country?

I reckon I've been to more raves than everyone on the last two or three pages combined. I've surely smoked more spliffs. I've also probably spent more time not working than you lot too. I wouldn't swap lives with you for shit. Success and bitches? Fair play. But to be happy with nothing, well would you still be a smug twat if you had no job no money no bitches? I am.

I've had everything I've got taken away from me more than once, and I've always gotten it back and then some. The money and females do not make the man. My comment wasn't about "look how awesome I am" so much as defending against an attack concerning how I handle females. Apparently that's the popular thing to do around here lately.

The TL;DR version is that I focus a lot on managing anxiety with females since that's the #1 killer of both interest and learning the material. I've not had success with this approach in kids under about 12 since they tend to just not be anxious and really just not care.

I design in boolean logic. I get how a rotary phone yes/no's its way to connect a call. I get how a touch screen yes/no's it's way around the internet. But how you take in raw visual data and pick out the traffic commands from the wandering citizens... that's magic.

It's still a series of yes/no's. You take the data of one image and you perform an edge detection algorithm. You have a lookup table of what different configurations of edges mean. You no/no/no/yes through the data table until you find a match. Then you follow the instructions attached to that yes.

milo yiannopoulos is easily one of my favorite people. even when you disagree with him, he's entertaining and has just enough charisma to keep going. if you dont know anything about him, he's a gay conservative provocateur. seems unusually high iq and well read as well. |

i love how much he loathes gays' embrace of mainstream culture, like how what can be sometimes assessed as gay privilege to subvert norms is itself subverted by the embrace of mainstream culture. it's not so much that he's right (no single side on the issue of either embracing culture or subverting it is exclusive in its correctness), but it's a neat point. |
