Have you modded a game before?

If no:
In my personal experience, you will have an easier job with the modding if you choose the rules/format yourself.
Also talk to someone like rilla via PM to work your ideas through... rilla is a good first choice because he's less likely to be IN than other people, yet he's the WW moderator, so he probably follows our activities here more closely than we realize.

EDIT: I just noticed that wufwugy is also a WW moderator.
