Will have to wait for tomorrow to read the dead thread and wolfchat. I can imagine you guys gave me an incredible amount of shit for pushing for Rascal so hard while Gabe was on the chopping block. FWIW I think the quick days and my lack of time to go over the material is what led to the two major misunderstandings I had that led to that decision.

Gabe you played a fucking awesome game. I think you sorta got yourself in a trap by doing some really villy things that you had to later pseudo-recant, but the way you did it was mostly successful (in my mind), and I had never thought to do it that way. Basically what I'm getting at is that when you're a wolf and you use solid rationale to clear villagers in early and mid game, you have to start going back on that in order to get mislynches in the late game. Which is what you did when you were questioning Luco and me when previously you had cleared us with strong logic. But what I loved that you did was at the same time was "panic" over a mislynch. I'm not sure if you intended so, but usually when a mislynch in on the way, wolves tend to be okay with them. But you weren't, you were acting like you hated the lynch. When Rong was on the chopping block, I thought this had to mean you both were wolves. But really that was just a level where after Rong flips villager you look like another villager who saw the folly of the lynch. I've never seen wolves do this (at least not that well) and I never thought of it for myself. So kudos. I really dig sophistication in play

As for my play, I don't think it was bad. I'm not impressed by my performance, but I really did try to put strong logic to my votes. The Rascal lynch was based on some pretty huge misunderstandings, and those are mostly my fault. The Rong lynch I feel was unavoidable. Even if, for example, we'd lynched Hoopy, the next day I would have come out blasting Rong since I saw some big connections between them. The thing about my play is that I try to put my bold on the person for whom the best argument has been made. This doesn't mean it's right. In fact the results are usually wrong, but I don't know how else to do it

Great game guys and I hope Rascal and Monstr play more.

I've had an epiphany: Luco is not Loki. JKDS is.

I've had fuzzy vision of the SK since I know I'm a villager. Loki declaring it for the whole village tells me that he's trying to aid the village win, especially since when it happened, it looked like I was in danger of being lynched

But it has troubled me that Loki Speaks is so obviously in the style of Luco. Saying "ded" is dead ringer that either Luco did it or somebody is trying to impersonate him. At first I figured Luco was just absent-minded and drunk dialed. But I don't think that's the case now. It would take a pretty huge brainfart for Luco to accidentally post as himself in such an obvious fashion. We simply don't see this sort of stuff. This is Werewolf, where wolves lie all day everyday. They don't slip up so obviously, so it's unreasonable to think Luco did as the SK

Enter JKDS: I dislike every direction, every case that he's made this game. He is one of the only people left who is actively tricky enough to plot against everybody in creative ways if his role called for it. The night before Loki Speaks, he came out hard against me (not hard, actually, but brittle. More like he was trying to come out hard). Shortly after that post, Luco makes the post that is later imitated. Come morning, Baud wakes up and posts Loki Speaks

So here we have JKDS on record calling me a wolf and bolding me. Then "Loki" says I'm a villager and looks like it comes from Luco. Then JKDS "doesn't buy it" and calls me SK or wolf. With one stone, he frames the most "lock" villager and points everybody in a direction away from him

JKDS is going for the solo win. He's trying to trick everybody


Hey JerKDS, all I can say is you need to count your blessings and realize that Papa Wugy found the last two wolves. After Rong flips snarlface, prove you're too cool for school and either shoot nobody or shoot the last wolf

Jumping to conclusions is the name of the game. The way we all hunt wolves is seeing some patterns or head-scratching comments then try to reverse engineer why it makes sense the player would do those based on a role they may have

I try to use as much logic as I can, but the problem is that all sorts of weird/wrong things are logical in some ways
