Can you explain your preflop decision?

i'd fold to his 3b 100% of the time here. so many better hands we could use in our 4b bluff range. however i have no idea what i think we should do OTT, which is obviously the decision point you're most interested in

Yeah he was 3betting my BU and SB opens enough to make me think he was doing it with a good % of air so I decided to play back at him. Obviously wasn't expecting a call.

thing is, if you do it with j8o what does the rest of your 4b bluff range look like?

Yeah, I realize my mistake here. I wasn't really thinking in terms of my range, just wanted to try and make villain think twice before 3betting my opens.

I think you're pot committed. I'd just roll with it. Probably your best play is to go into check/call mode or even check/jam.

Aside from preflop, I'd bet much bigger on the flop like pot or even open-jam the flop.

Not a great hand to 4b with, esp if he is capable of flatting you.

As played, getting the stacks in.

Also you can prob size flop much smaller. $1.80-2.20 or something is fine, given stacks remaining and size of pot.

    I wasn't expecting a call.

What worse hands do you expect villain to stack off with on this turn?

There's a half pot shove left on the turn if I'm not mistaken. Seeing as how he can put you on AQ/AK, then I'm expecting ppl to be able to call off any pair here.

I'm also assuming most ppl will 5b jam QQ+ pre. So now he's left with random 8x, 99, TT, Jx stuff mostly.
