One of my workouts. I did this 6 times, so this being the last time I got tired and missed the last rung...

also got in frisbee tossing but it wasn't windy enough for fun, running 100 yards 10 times, and used the new tetherball I bought this day. Pretty succesful day in my book. For 52 years old, just getting outdoors is a good day.

It takes 2 years to learn to talk, but a lifetime to learn when to shut up.

LOL, I'm 48, I can Bench my weight, Squat 275 and Deadlift 315 and all for reps. I'm in the gym 6 days a week and showing fat fucks like you how to get a life back after years of drinking Diet soda and eating low fat cookies. See this is where your philosophies fail you. What you do has you at 52 going on 72 and mine have me at 48 going on 28.

Props on your lifting. That is huge.

I prefer playing tetherball, or throwing a frisbee 25 yards over the Gulf and having the wind return it back to me. Several of my friends are big weightlifters. He mentions he was curling 100 pounds with one arm but was now doing 110 pounds with one arm. I mean that is lifting up a chick with one arm, that weight. Another lifter gave me a pair of gloves for when I use to do my 2 sets of 15 pushups. I bought me another pair of gloves this year for my chinups/pullups routine. They wrap around the wrist.
I bought the daughter a set of 3 pound hand weights last year as a Christmas present. She uses them for her Jillian Michaels video workouts.

These days I don't believe in paying for a gym membership since I am seldom home(only slept there a little over a dozen days in the last year, love ping pong and darts at the club house). Was too busy using up my year round Disney pass. Last time I had a gym membership, I went to all 12 Lifetime Fitness gyms to get in a final workout and see what they all looked like. Here is one of several places I work out at. Been visiting it off and on in my 6 years that I have been retired. Some years alligators are there, other years remote controlled sailboats sail by. There is a paved walking path around the lake.

Almost 5 years ago would make me 48 years old. The crazy exercise thing I remember doing back then was riding a bicycle from Coon Rapids to Cambridge, a distance of 27 miles. Visited the daughter for 3 hours. Then rode my bicycle back from Cambridge to Coon Rapids, another 27 miles. I figured if any of my grandkids grew up to be sports nuts, they could bicycle the same route long after I am gone. I only had three grandkids back then. Now I am up to seven grandkids with another on the way.

Ten miles from Cambridge, my daughter pulled up beside me asking what I am doing. I said I am on my way to visit her in Cambridge. She asked do I want a lift, I said heck no. I am doing this come heck or high water. It was a mountain bicycle, so not very fast with the wide tires. Had bought a new sprocket, some new handle bars for long distance riding, and a water holder, to hold my Diet Mountain Dew bottle. Loads of dead animals in the ditches. Funny in a car I never noticed many dead animals save a deer here and there and ocassional possum.
