    Default 10NL K6s BTN against Villain's 1st hand

Villain at least had the sense to wait for the BB, instead of posting from MP.

    Bovada - $0.10 NLHE - 9 players

    UTG: $2.53
    UTG+1: $1.57
    MP1: $8.17
    MP2: $10.00
    HJ: $13.47
    CO: $24.57
    Hero BTN: $14.78
    SB: $2.98
    BB: $10

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has K 6

fold, fold, MP1 calls $0.10, fold, fold, HJ calls $0.10,fold, Hero raises to $0.60, fold, BB calls $0.50, fold, fold

    Flop: ($1.45, 2 players) 8 2 K
    BB bets $1.45, Hero...

Fold pre-. I might be inclined to consider iso-ing one limper in position with this hand, but there are two, and K6s doesn't flop particularly well.

As played, not hard to fold to the flop bet. What range can he reasonably have where you have enough equity to continue?

I understand our hand is sub-optimal , and I don't care what villain had. I see these donk bets all the time @4nl ,They're almost always weak.

Since the only info we have to go on is he waited for the BB. a lot of these donks are FOS is all.

Agreed on the weak donk lead, but this is a pot lead - we're almost never good here.

Donking seems like it has it's place. Though if ya start doing it a lot . won't your c/r's, c/c's, & c/f ranges have to change if your going to have balance?

IF I'm going to c/r or donk, it is usually determined by the number of people who see the flop.
    If it's 3 - 4 handed, I'll just donk 1/2 pot. I don't want to give away free cards.
If it's 5+ handed, I go for c/r. The more people there are, the more likely that someone will bet.
I doubt anyone notices the difference at 10NL. If they DO, then I'm already giving them a lot of respect and avoiding them w/o very strong hands.

Balance at the micros is not something to worry too much about unless a specific player seems to be aware of ranges. In that case, a c/r is based on my read of his range as often as my own range.

Yeah. I didn't though. I called this bet, thinking there are plenty of people who go ape-shit aggro on their first hand, and there's a good chance I can float this bet.

Then another PSB on the turn and I fold. It was after the fact that I realized that I should have let it go on the flop. I threw it to you guys and it seems that you agree.
