It's a very common thing that BC bonks say, yes. The point is that even if you're playing your "A game" with 8-tables, you're stunting your growth as a poker player because you're too busy to pay attention and think things through as well as you could playing fewer tables. | |

I agree with dozer. I still have TONS of learning to do and when i was playing at 2NL and 5NL i used to play 12 tables cuz i thought i was amazing. Now at 10NL i don't play more than 4 because i came to the realisation that getting better requires a lot of thinking over every decision instead of playing like a robot and mashing the mouse repeatedly. It does require more patience because obviously less tables means a slower pace and less action but micro stakes is about honing skills not making $$$. |
