well i went busto today. I had a small bank roll to start with and today I just got impatient and went retarded. Anyway I am thinking of redepositing later in the week. How much do I need for a good bankroll? I norm play about 8 tables of FR 4nl. Thanks

Depositing 25 BIs for 4NL is more than enough

if you went busto on 4nl i sugest you deposit 25BI for 2nl and grow that for 4nl.

Dozer this may sound retarded but i do way better when i have many tables going. If i only play 1 or 2 i get bored easily and start doing stupid shit. Have you ever heard of someone being like this?

It's a very common thing that BC bonks say, yes. The point is that even if you're playing your "A game" with 8-tables, you're stunting your growth as a poker player because you're too busy to pay attention and think things through as well as you could playing fewer tables.

Desperately clinging to your A-game while stunting your growth when your A-game sucks doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Also, if you lack the discipline to play solid poker with fewer tables, and have no interest, motivation, or ability to cultivate such discipline, I'd suggest poker might not be the game for you.

I agree with dozer. I still have TONS of learning to do and when i was playing at 2NL and 5NL i used to play 12 tables cuz i thought i was amazing. Now at 10NL i don't play more than 4 because i came to the realisation that getting better requires a lot of thinking over every decision instead of playing like a robot and mashing the mouse repeatedly. It does require more patience because obviously less tables means a slower pace and less action but micro stakes is about honing skills not making $$$.

Iunno, if you go on even a 30BI downswing at the lowest stake on a site, the slap in the face of going busto just might just be necessary.
