    I dont like your logic for raising a turn bet on a safe board. If you think you're ahead of most of his range, just call a turn bet and let him bet again on the river.

    I was thinking I dont like giving him 2 cards to overs / FDs but don't mind letting him miss once to try and gain an extra bet from him. If he checks the turn he's practically given up and I wasn't getting any more money anyway.

    If he c/r the turn I was probably beaten all along unless its a great bluff raise.
