Looking up the same person twice gives us a better chance of knowing that persons role either way.

I'd say at the least it's not really a bad thing. It would still be a roll of the dice that the medium just happens to ask the dead one that got an answer, but it's better than nothing. Neither is Ong's idea of a protected and outed medium. It has some merit. The obvious downside to this idea is a false outing and a protected wolf.
