H1, pretty small, perhaps $0.5 or $0.55. i'm basically looking to fold out all the missed broadway hands which are technically "correct" in calling. never expect him to fold a pair so i'm making it small to give myself a good price and target the part of his range i actually have FE against (and which sklansky would say is "correct" in calling) ie Kxs+,Kxo+,Qxs+,Qxo+,Jxs+,Jxo+

H2, at least $0.6. don't mind $0.7. the cbet may not be strictly +EV in a vacuum with these sizings given it requires a higher fold frequency and he has lots of small/middle pairs in his calling range and maybe even some AQ/AJ hands (depending on his FTCB, which is probably high given he's a nit), but cbetting larger sets up a bigger, sweeter pot for turn + river spots where we can barrel him profitably on appropriate cards and take the pot, and obviously get more value when we hit.

I should mention my HH in hand 2 is screwed. The flop pot should be roughly half of what it states...

pretty standard open given that villain's going to limp call -> c/f flop a ton. Our iso is just printing money

    Hand 1: ~$0.55
Hand 2: ~$0.60. Checking behind is probably fine too since we're likely to have to fire multiple barrels to bluff villain off a hand because his range is pp and Ax heavy

checking behind is terrible with two overcards, a flush draw and initiative imo. there's also nothing wrong with firing multiple barrels on certain runouts either.

There isn't anything wrong with firing multiple barrels. But getting a free card can't be terrible. I think we can still get villain off small/med pairs with a delayed cbet.

    0.6 in first hand.
2nd hand is iffy. Usually you're dealing with a wider range in that spot. Here it's prolly like 10% 3b, 6% call, which usually means his range is entirely the low end of broadways. So you can get away with betting pretty small here as well imo. if you're like me and you play 10NL 10 tables stacked while watching tv shows, then I vote for wtfpot. Let's not turn this rape into a murder, etc.

There's actually a lot wrong with 'getting a free card', but I don't feel educational today. Get your ass on irc imo.

The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

I think I may have checked behind a flush draw (with 2 flush on board) once in my life but I can't remember when, there aren't too many good reasons for it.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
