Folks who went all-in on online poker and didn't build something else on the side (assuming they could) or make a big pile of money certainly misplayed their hand. But good people make poor decisions all the time, otherwise poker wouldn't have been sooo darn good for as long as it was and probably will be once again. Lots of "successful" people took the sucker end of a bet for a lot of money and got lucky. My current employer for starters....
