I'm curious to know why, given the chance to take him into custody and gain a huge amount of intel on the rest of his organization, ST6 chose to just "break a hat on his bottom". Or whatever that colourful US phrase is.

Me either. The longer things go on without a response of some kind makes it more and more likely that he's...shall we say...out of circulation.

I'm not sure that I would have done a cover up if captured. I prolly would have tied him to a stake and broadcast his execution across al jazeera like they did when they cut off that one dude's head. Of course that would have been after many 1000s of hours of interogation and posturing/gloating about the capture including condemning Pakistan for hiding him.
