For PokerStars specifically, it has been mentioned in this thread that the Law in the country they operate from (Isle of Mann) is that they must not only have 1:1 cash on hand for all players accounts, but that they must be in a seperate account. If this law is followed, it would mean their business cashflow has nothing to do with players account balances. In other words, its not like PS's liquid cash is equal to X when X = total of players account balances... | |
