    1 - put villain on a range for pre-flop limp-call
2 - narrow this range after villain calls flop
3 - narrow this range after villain calls turn
4 - now you have a range on which to base your river decision

post the ranges from 1-3 above, post your thoughts on best river play based on this

OK a couple things here. His range is much bigger then a flush draw, and why would you bet so he can't bluff you? Isn't it more +EV to induce a bluff and snap it off? If your 100% sure he has a busted flush draw, betting is a pretty bad way of extracting any value on the river.

Unless your using the KISS method, and realize that your way ahead of his range, so betting is the best option. Realizing that is a big part of his range to make decisions easier then that's fine. Not the best option in my opinion for extracting value though if you have such a 100% read.

Disclosure: I completely missed that a back door flush hit river LOL I'll have to pay more attention! POKER I'm working on it....

    This.

Sorry Smith, I was trolling. You're quite right to have picked up that my post was a load of shit and questioned my reasoning though, so kudos for knowing why what I suggested is totally wrong in every way!

    Forum Newbie here.
I was trying to figure out what your method to the madness was.
At least it got me thinking, and that's what I'm here for. (and NSFW pics obviously)
