Not an uncommon spot i guess but I'm still learning and just wondering if I did the right thing here. Got a bit confused in the hand so want my thinking cross checking 'cos it turned into a 'feel' play a little

Villain 33/24, 69% D steal, 80 hands. Seems like a casual poor player who likes to play a lot of hands but he's not a maniac and not too aggressive.

PF: Put him on a wide range from like Q8s and better. Inc suited conn's, PPs. Chose not to 3bet as wanted to keep pot small and not give away my Ace, because he'll pay a couple of bets with 2nd pair. Sometimes i 3bet here tho.

Flop: Maybe should have been $3.50+. Felt draws were big part of range here. Thought my Ten was marginal fave a lot of time atm.

Suppose my Q is is the chkraise ok?+best move on turn?

Okay, You're marginally ahead of his flop range, but I feel when you checkraise you push out alot of his weaker hands. I'm not sure what to do on the turn, you've built a big pot and you're OOP. :/

I'd rather call the flop and check to see what he does on the turn, I might make a river bet he checks turn (depending on the turn and river cards).

On the Turn you only have 33% equity against the range that you put him on. Check and fold if he raises.

Call pre c/c flop or b/f flop both seem good. c/r seems silly to me.

c/c flop imo, idk what a D steal is and you didnt tell us about his cbetting tendencies, but i bet hes doing it fairly wide here, you are turning your Tens into a bluff and when he calls he def has a Jack/sets or a draw and bam most of those draws just got there on the turn. You needed to have planned for all of this when you decided to arbitrarily raise the flop.

and fwiw "not giving away my ace" is not a reason not to 3bet, im not saying you should 3bet im just saying thats not the correct reasoning

I prefer to b/f flop since you're probably going to shit a brick any time he bets any later street on like 90% of boards if you c/c and don't improve.

On the turn I'm confused as to why you're confused. You think his range is all draws then wonder what to do when every draw in the world completes on the turn.

As it is though, his range on the turn is Jx some Tx and some flushes/strights. I don't trust a tard like this to fold Jx often enough, it's the topest pair. No matter how good a bluff card this is as a general principle, this theoretical fold equity doesn't often become a reality vs morons. C/F the turn, B/F the flop with c/c being my 2nd choice and often better depending on how good your reads are and villains tendencies.
