Thinking villain always flops nuts

    Aside from putting villains on a range, maybe think about why you're c-betting a dry board with AK and what type of player you're betting in to.

    Well,

    1) I'm c-betting a dry board with my big pairs to either win the pot there and then or get a call from smaller top pairs or overpairs that are below my pair.

    2) I'm c-betting AK to try to rep a big pair and make a second pair to the board fold. I'm then check/folding the turn usually, unless I pick up a pair or atleast a gutshot straight draw to go with my 2 overcards.
