Fox News tried to slide in a story which I doubt is real, just a comment that one of the people in the crowd shot back at the gunman.

It seems like the Congresswoman was shot in the temple and is currently alive and responsive to doctors. All according to an AZ state senator they just interviewed.

A federal judge was also shot at the scene; killed.

Still not sure quite where I stand on the gun control issue, but this is a ridiculous comparison. You can't kill someone instantly from 50 feet away with your voice, try as you might.

A closer comparison would be to point out the double standard by which drugs are illegal, yet are potentially lethal to self and others in similar ways to guns, which are legal.
