    Next thing you'll tell me is that 3 out of 4 people make up 75% of the population.

    Point taken, but I've read somewhere on FTR or saw in a video that you can't be a winning player at 50NL if you're a nit. Seems like it was M2M that said it.

    If you're serious about becoming a good player and moving through the stakes, you need to forget about being a nit and open up your game from LP. Play a wider range, get comfortable with, get to like it. The more hands you play well from LP the better you'll get postflop and the more money you'll make from stealing blinds and from having position vs weaker players.

    that can't be true because

    a) 'nit' is a loosely thrown around term that encompasses a wide range of players

    b) 50NL is not that tough

    ^ this, look up el nino 1 for example and note that he's 10-8
