Yeah it did seem pretty high considering the following:

PTR itself certainly hasn't logged every hand of internet poker and from what I understand it's a fairly new site? I could be wrong here.

Really that looks like a VERY limited sampling of total amount lost. In that light the total hands seems exceptionally high; I'm almost thinking that it's not hands dealt but more like hands dealt * number of players at the table, but thats just speculation.
