I would agree that someone who will cheat with you is more likely to cheat on you in the future, but its not a forgone fact that it will happen. Again, there are always exceptions and special circumstances. To be clear though.. in general I agree with you and would be very cautious about entering into a relationship with someone who was cheating on their s.o. with me.

I guess the reason I'm so adamant about it right now is my brother is going through this situation and has already taken his wife back once after she cheated only to have her do it again a year later and now they're still "working" on things.

I'm sure people may have reasons to stay together but I can't think of one that I would agree with. Yeah there could be cases like say one spoon mentioned that the wife is the sugar momma but in that case I don't really think of that being a relationship in the traditional sense that I think of when I say relationship.

Ya, for sure, bottom line, cheating is bad. In some rare cases its understandable and/or the phrase "once a cheater always a cheater" does not apply.
