Also, regarding battery life. If you buy a smart phone you accept the new phone culture of plugging your phone into your computer at work, at night, etc. No smart phone lasts exceptionally longer than the others. Deal with it.

This. I have a 3GS upgraded to the 4.0.3 iPhone OS and haven't noticed any significant decrease in battery life, although there were a lot of tech blogs moaning about it with the launch 4.0 OS. As it is, I can still go more than 24hours without recharging for casual use and if I'm using it to listen to iTunes or watch vids it's docked and charging most of the time anyway - at home, in the office and in my car. | |
