I've never had any problems with any of the moderators in the IRC channel. It's a great place to learn, and they're nothing but helpful to people that want to do so.

The OPs do their best to maintain a friendly environment for discussions. There is spam every now and then, and ppl get kicked sometimes for it. Thats life.

I was having trouble moving up into small stakes prior to joining the IRC. Since then I've had countless discussions with lots of players who are better than me and have learned a ton. It really is the place to be if you want to excel at poker.

This thread is like the school bully that moves and has to go to a different school where there's a bigger, badder bully that beats him up and he goes running to the teacher screaming "make him stop!".
