    Default confusing spot with a straight.. i hate how i played it

    All villains here are very loose... these 50bb tables are just stupid... ranges are like so wide i'm having a hard time narrowing them down.
    In this perticular hand I think MP2 is honestly the only person that deserves attetion. Is slightly tighter then the rest and definitely only betting with a good piece of the board. Button and Co can have any over cards or hands like A5o+
    So something like:
    MP1 limping with {45o+, 78s+, A2o+, K2s+, Q2s+, J8s+}i'm sure there's more i can put here
    Co limping with {Ax, Kx, Qx, possibly any PP cause they suck, suited cards}
    Button limping {atc}

    When MP/CO check flop and Button bets $1 i'm sure he's only trying to take pot. OESD I feel like I should call and MP's raise means he's somewhat strong here. I haven't really seen him betting at draws and definitely don't think he's raising them here probably just calling down, especialy in a 4way pot. CO calls with any draw and I think button calls cause he's stupid.
    MP raising with {56, 89, A5+, K5+} <--kinda hard to assign here

    Turn, I'm dumb.. I didn't like being OOP and was pretty sure MP was betting so figured I'd wait to see the action and probably slow play which is just dumb I'm sure at 6max at these stakes.

    I don't think anyone here was chasing the diamond flush.. so I'm not skerd
    8T? never... not with checks through on the turn.. I'm sure they are not as dumb as me

    So please, correct all my mistakes so I never let this happen again

    1) Why did you check the flop?

    2) Why did you check the turn?

    People on here will give you far more technical advice than I dare to offer, but those things imo were mistakes.

    Checking the flop is fine here. You have very little fold equity and it's really bad for you when you get raised. However, you should go ahead and lead the turn. Because there are so many river cards that make life difficult for you, and you get plenty of value.

    ^^ what spoon said. any more than 2 runners in a pot and betting draws loses its effectiveness. You just dont get enough folds often enough. Flop check is fine, though it's hard to really call the flop pot bet with such a bad position as you could get raised behind by people with sets /2 pair, overs (edit, you did get raised) , and with the FD on the board your draw has only 6 outs with this many people in the pot. Def bet the turn because you're getting value from 2 FDs/2 pair sets etc etc. Probably bet about pot on the turn as you'll likely get paid off by worse.

    Once you're at the river you should c/c because i dont think much worse really calls/ you can get bluff raised or raised by backdoor flushes.
    Im ready this time.

    so flop is a c/c ? i see myself folding it to a potsize here a lot because like jaytoi said our relative position and tainted outs...

    if its just HU and we didnt have tainted outs would it even still be a call vs a potsize bet... or would that depend on reads re. our implied odds...?

    edit: just noticed its 6max, does that change anything here vs FR?

    I think the BTN here takes a stab at the pot with a really wide range, so I don't mind call. For the last flop call, it's 8 to 1 pot odds with 6 really good outs and some possibilities even if a heart falls.

    I think the flop is fine.

    plus i found myself playing a little more aggressive at 6max and taking atleast one stab at good pots when I have the outs to back it up

    in any situation is a shove on the river a good idea here? probably not as only better is calling and beating me right? just curious cause the min raise on the river means villain has showdown strength but other then a flush what am i scared of? maybe AhTh.
