Default Stop donking, i hate you. 2nl

First hand from villain after 5 folds.

    $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Holdem
    8 Players
    Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($2.48)
    UTG+1 ($2.33)
    Hero ($2.03)
    MP2 ($0.60)
    CO ($5)
    BTN ($0.93)
    SB ($0.82)
    BB ($2.98)

    Pre-Flop: ($0.03, 8 players) Hero is MP1
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, 1 fold, CO calls $0.06, 2 folds, BB calls $0.04

i haz jj, raise. im not that green.

    Flop: ($0.19, 3 players)
BB bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.10, CO folds

the fuck? halvsies? grrr...i can totally see TT, 99, A8, 76, 75s that i beat do this, as well as maybe like 66, 88 thats scared to bet ppl out. With these hands, its common for them to make some retarded ass bet on a later street so i call here not trying to fold out the weaker part or get raised off.

    Turn: ($0.39, 2 players)
BB bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.10

huh again? um, i dont really get it. as per the reasoning above, i discount alot of his monster hands now...looks alot like A8 now imo but his other hands above still fit. Im really thinking i should raise here though, as his nut range shouldnt really be here anymore, and id get alot of value from TT, 99, maybe even A8 and of course 75s.

    River: ($0.59, 2 players)
BB bets $0.20, Hero calls $0.20

Thats kinda gay too. 1/3 bet, the ace shouldnt really change much...but i dont really see him 3 barrelling like TT here anymore...cuz he did the bet kinda quick. im getting like 3.5 to 1 or something...surely i still beat enough to call right?

I'd raise more pre flop since they'll call anyway.

If you call the flop then you should definitely raise turn as a set (in my experience) would bet 1/2 pot again.

Still I think you can raise the flop for value since most of his range will call.

Yes I'd make my std PFR size 4x or 5x at games where people hate folding preflop, and don't 3bet much.

wat? So because villain might have a set, we should raise the turn?

    YES.

Easy flop raise. You may fold a pair lower than 6s, or even a 6 sometimes, but you've gotta get more money in the pot vs an 8, 99-TT, OESD, or even a 6 sometimes. You're just missing value vs these hands by playing this passively & letting the moran dictate the bet sizing.

Yeah my bad I didn't think that through regarding the turn raise, I'm guessing if he re raises the flop we may have to consider folding since his range should be very strong.
