Depends on if you think you were betting for value or bluffing

Well as pot was small and it wasn't costing too much I put the pot bet out just to see where I stood at 70. All called then checked on the turn, so I put them on Kx at best. Then 9 came giving me 2 pair - hence the raise. I got beat, one of them had higher 2 pair, K 9.

Seems an ok line to me, maybe check call the river but other than that seems fine.

you do understand K2o had you beat right? any king had 2 pair on the turn automatically having a higher 2 pair

Your 2 pair on the river is irrelevant (facing a K), because if someone has a K they have Ks and 3s, so they beat you anyway. Your 2 pair only comes into play if someone has a J but a better kicker than you.

If you put villain on Kx, then the river doesn't help you. I probably check the river and then call depending on the action and bet size.

yeah, basically you got confused with the value of your hand, if the 3 hadnt paired your river bet would be a good one for value. Unfortunately the 3s did pair on the turn meaning any king has you beat as they have kings and 3s beating your jacks and 9s.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

I don't really like the flop bet. Why fight over a tiny pot with a hand that's rarely good in a 3-way when you're OOP and the board is scary & your opponents are likely to call you with any diamond?

Just an unnecessary risk this early in the tourney. I wouldn't mind it in a cash game I guess...depending on your opponents.

The river bet is bad too given that it's still 3-way and the odds of someone having a king after calling the flop bet are pretty decent. If they were both on the diamond draw you're not getting value anyway, so just check it down IMO. One of those situations where you're not likely to get value from worse hands, thought if it was only two and the villain was really loose you could probably get value from another Jx. Still thin IMO

    Fold the flop imo.

    Keep in mind--

People will slowplay or fast play flopped flushes or a nut flush draw-- so betting the flop DOESN'T tell you where you stand. The fact that 2 people called your flop bet doesn't tell you much; any Ad or K or made flush will call or possibly raise your small flop bet. If anything with this action, you should know that you're behind unless you go runner-runner a FH (and if it turns a J then rivers a K, I still wouldn't fistpump shove for obvious reasons). The 3 on the turn should tell you to shut down and save your chips for later as it couterfeits your kicker outs (and if you check the turn and river, I don't think anybody is going to bet without a made flush since they should know you were in the blind and are the one most likely to have a 3 in your hand. A free showdown was pretty likely).

You got yourself a nice big stack early. Don't piss it away trying to push people around with it with marginal hands for small pots. Pick your spots better.
