This is a hand I witnessed. What do you think of Hero's line? What do you think a complete iteration of Hero's range would be in this spot. What do you think of V's line? What do you think a complete iteration for V's range would be in this spot? Both players are regs.

    $5/$10 No Limit Holdem

    Stacks:
    UTG IHateBigDogs ($1,878)
    UTG+1 fraervasya ($1,366)
    CO maxkatz1 ($1,074)
    BTN V ($1,446)
    SB Hero ($1,279)
    BB xarabank ($715)

    Pre-Flop: ($15, 6 players) Hero is BTN
    3 folds, V raises to $20, Hero raises to $90, 1 fold, V calls $70

    Flop: ($190, 2 players)
Hero bets $110, V raises to $250, Hero calls $140

    Turn: ($690, 2 players)
    Hero checks, V bets $250, Hero goes all-in $939...

not a fan of flop call. would like it better if hero had 67 or 68. i hate hero's turn crai. hate hate hate. would prefer calling and donk jamming every river esp with the fd.

hero is badly trying to rep Tx+ and failing imo but that doesn't necessarily matter. i can't imagine villian folding any pair and only folding his air, meh i would fold 22 and 33 as hero's range has far too much equity against those specific hands, which is not necessarily bad for our hand and takes away his pair equity for the river i guess. one of those spots where hero doesn't have to rep a whole lot if villian's range is full of air.

my interpretation of hero's range would be along the lines of

    discounted Tx, JJ-AA
lots of fd's with or without overs. AK,AQ sometimes. although if i interpreted villian's range to be full of air c/cing down is prolly best with AK or AQ

    villian's range is
pairs or air. i would not put it past a lot of regs to raise 55-99 here and it's probably bad at all given hero decided to float with 9 high.

air being like Q,J,9,8 high. sometimes A high as well as getting AK and AQ to fold is obviously important.

that all being said i would fold teh flop and balance my b/c c/jam range with something better than 9 high.

I know this was played like shit so might as well berate me to the fullest. Villain seemed like a solid reg, hadn't done anything stupid.

weaktight | Hand | AKo - $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Holdem

Still can't seem to make the converter work so weaktight it is.

dunno what your doing on the flop, this is an absurdly great flop for his range and people tend not to fold AK high in 4b pots.

    shove pre.

At 6m, just get it pre in with AK unless villain is absurdly tight. I still hate doing it but I think you have to.

This is pretty poor advice. Only way you should get AK in UTG and MP is if villain is really aggro, even CO.

This could explain why I never got past 10nl in 6m.

Just think of it the other way, Would you 3 bet/5bet shove with anyone who's UTG or MP 4 betting and not be able to beat AK?
