Default Set Mined: AA vs utg raise.

Hey Not sure about this hand

    Villain runs 12/10 over 40.

    1) pf 3-bet bet-size? By default i'll make it 3x the open in position (4x out of position).
    2) Do I flat the flop? I suspect villain's call/shove range is QQ+,AQs,AQo on the flop, so I'm happy raising and getting it in here.
    3) If he turns QQ over, so be it. But should I really be worried about 33 and 22?

    QQ+,33-22 [equity: 44%]
    QQ+,33-22,AQs,AQo [equity: 56%]

I can't get away from this hand can I? My line OK?

    This is fine

I would subtract AK out of this range, except AKss

No, he's not typically calling 3bets w/ these hands, and if he is, note it and profit.

I generally don't WANT to get away from this hand - I think you played it fine.

A couple things, I'm not auto-3betting here, probably 50/50 between 3betting and calling PF depending on the players left to act behind me (the tighter/more aggressive I call the more loose/passive I'd 3bet).

If he has 22/33 he plays bad and barely broke even on his call PF.

This is AQ way more than it is 22/33 so you pretty much have to get it all in on this flop.

If you just call PF and you're heads up vs UTG on this flop, how would you proceed when he leads the betting? I guess you raise, but what then when he 3bets (if he 3bets)? Call, call down re-evaluating on later streets? I'd worry about just calling here in case he does have a couple of spades or a spade comes and slows down the action.

This board just looks so benign, spades aside.

    Villain showed 33.

some of my flop action would depend on if I had the As in this spot. If I did, I would possibly be more inclined to just call, because against a regular TAGGnit he'll never have a flush draw.
