    Default 10NL: QQ flopped overpair

Villain in this hand was 55/5/1 over 20 hands, so not much information really over this short period. 4x the BB is my standard raise and I am obviously trying to get value/push people out of this hand because I rather play it HU or against only 2 opponents. This is a decent flop for my QQ and I c=bet almost the pot. His check raise is really odd here because when you get check raised you usually wind up seeing a set or FD (not always the case). But when they check raise you, you usually see it as a check min-raise (again, not always the case). So, whats our play here?

    1. Fold, we could possibly be up against AA or KK, but unlikely.

    2. Call. Call and evaluate on the turn. See if a scare card peels off, or if he bets into us on the turn?

    3. Raise, because we can get value if we have the best hand here, but we are committing ourselves here if he happens to shove. Not bad because we still may have the best hand at this point.

    No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    UTG ($10)
    MP1 ($10.50)
    MP2 ($7.05)
    CO ($1.80)
    Hero (Button) ($10)
    SB ($28)
    BB ($2.35)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, Q
    2 folds, MP2 (poster) checks, 1 fold, Hero raises $0.40, 2 folds, MP2 (poster) calls $0.30

    Flop: ($0.95) 10, 3, 5 (2 players)
    MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.80, MP2 raises $2.10, Hero ??

standard. not a bad spot to stack off. KK/AA are clearly out of his range, and we're only paying off to TT, 33, 55, and any whacky two pair hands. he's calling our re-raise/shove with a ten or diamond draw here more often than not

    re-raise.

    It's either call or raise

55/5/1 seems to suggest he has something stupid like KT or something though

Option 1: Call. If we call it looks like we may be on some type of draw or underpair here. Whats our action if he bets on the turn, And whats our action if he checks.

Option 2: Raise. Obviously he will either fold or call (AI on turn) or get it all in on the flop

More than enough evidence that this villain is retarded to shove QQ here. I expect to see Tx or a FD far more than anything that beats you.

I don't like calling. We don't really want villain to see a turn with Tx or FD.

if we're calling it's only to go all in on the turn

    standard shove, imo

remember 2 pair hands are brittle - if he's got 53 or some such, then on the river we'll have 6 outs to a better 2 pair, 2 outs to the set - so we have lots of equity against anything other than a set

iopq is right that we want to get it all in - in most cases i'm trying to get it in on the flop while we're still ahead - the FD if it comes in shuts down the action, whether he has the flush or not

And anything bigger than a T may shut him down assuming he doesn't 2pr. Get'er in on the flop vs these loose donks & laugh at what they call you with. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see 66-99 call here from a loose donk

Time to shove. On top of all this, villain only has about 70bb

I would go AI. When so low stack, i dont think there must be much thinking with an QQ against those low flop-cards..

Nothing else to do there, if you call, he maybe get the flush or maybe he's going for 2 pairs or something else, i would 100% go AI after his raise.
    With patience you win
