Hi, i spent a lot of yesterday reading this forum and decided to sign up because i learned so much..

I read the sticky post "The Newbie Cirlce of Death" and it seems to apply well to me (been playing for 2 months).although my big win came from finishing 3rd in a tournament and then i gradually lost it on money tables.

I find myself doing some things which when i re-think may or may not be wrong be wrong...

i play at .10/.20 NL

When unraised i find myself raising JJ higher than AA to try and force people out to stand a better chance, where as i see it more profitbale to bet less with AA (.80 with JJ, .40 with AA)- is this a correct theory?

I dont have a clear view on what to do when AK doesn't hit and i am 1st to act e.g i raise .80 pre flop (correct?)..2 callers..flop : 369 rainbow.
Could they have pp's or do i raise and go for the pot i have built?

I have been experimenting with Turbo tables because there seem to be more fish who get rushed by the time, however i cant calculate pot odds at this speed (7 seconds per go) - what are your experiences of turbo play..should i wait til i am more experienced?

I always seem to stuggle with 1 on 1s (when waiting for more players or if i sumhow get to the end of a tournament)- Starting hands guides i have tried just don'tseem to work with 1 on 1s and the more aggressive seems to win, how can i combat this?

Sorry that these topics are all so different

Cheers,
Will
