Hello Everyone,

I am new to your website and would like to give a proper introduction. I always enjoy peoples first experiences with poker and tonight i plan to share my own with all of your members. My very first time was online on a website called bodog.com i was in college and my roommate introduced me to the game of no limit texas holdem suggesting some new hobbies for me other than women and weight lifting. I said ok,I will give it a shot he let me try a 10 player 5.50 sit and go. I found the game a pretty fun and exciting challenge I drew a strong passion as i played more times and eventually feel in love with it. I was at school and holding a part time job so i started to look at it as a good way to try to pay for my spring break trip where we went to Florida that year panama city, fl to be exact it's a well known spring break location for the east coast USa.( The good news is I did pay for my trip, and have been temporarily supporting myself with a new income since that time period , as well as finish school with more time to spend with my friends)
I began to look up the greats thinking since I am in school I will take the educated approach my first book I will never forget it the blue paperback edition of Doyle Brunson Super system II, I figured why not if it's a book this big it has to have alot of good information. On both accounts it was a great book for beginners and the maxims still hold true for today's competitions mostly as well.
Well long story short is i paid for my trip, and have been temporarily supporting myself with a new income since that time period , and also as i finished school it enabled me the freedom to spend more time with my friends In my book this is the best of both worlds as long as we make good decisions.
My history of poker for Texas hold em is within sng and MTt games but i would like to branch into cash games currently to try to build more of my fundamental skills to help me become a better player from bottom to top.
I look forward to finding good references for information to better build my skills and good friends on this website. I hope my journey on your website will be as good of an experience as when i began to play poker.

Yours Truly,

Righton
