Most people will look at that box score and think he had a decent game, not realizing that he posted most of those numbers in the first half. I don't recall if he got any boards or went to the line in the 2nd half, but he certainly didn't attempt any FGs (on account of him sitting on the bench most of the time).

This year's playoffs look incredibly sick. Even the 1-8 games are somewhat interesting.

man that philly/magic finish was awesome
  22. #22
    Da Bulls.

    That is all.
  23. #23
Ive kinda picked to support Boston before the playoffs started, didnt know they were last season champs or KG was injured. I swear it was just Irish link and why not. They dont look to good at all, we may still get thru first round but after that i dont think we can take down another team.

lakers are gonna go thru. next magic game could be a classic.

Celts/Bulls game was pretty damn awesome. I am a Celts fan and we are certainly in trouble w/out Garnett but getting past the Bulls is a decent possibility, after that who knows.

watched boston game 2, may of been a different story since rose was on 3 fouls early and benched.

gonna miss rondo if his ankle is at him.

Billups/TP>CP3/DWill so far and neither of them get much love. Paul has been ridiculously disappointing and Williams is just up against too tough a match-up for his supporting crew.

I'm convinced now that Chauncey should be a Hall of Famer.

I'm thrilled to see Kobe put up a 5-for-24 game.

Me too, I don't like the guy. That said, he puts up a 5-for-24 performance and they barely lose....doesn't bode well for the Jazz.

Bos - Chi was a great game. Bulls were lucky to escape with the win. Usually when a young team misses free throws down the stretch, and leaves the best clutch 3-point shooter in the game wide open for big shots, it ends in a loss. Still this Boston will win the series, but at least it is entertaining. I was looking for this type of play in the Cavs-Pistons matchup.

Curry should either be fired or have his head examined, after 3 quarters and being down by 13 he said in the interview (paraphrasing) "our guys are playing with a lot of energy and that's all we can ask". OMG WTF NO what game was he watching, that was the most uninspired 4 quarters of basketball I've ever seen a team play. Pathetic and I don't blame the Pistons fans for not showing up, b/c their team didn't either.

Ya you could just tell the whole series the Pistons played generally uninspired basketball. The series was over before it started, really.

Howard should get a multi-game suspension for that elbow he threw.

    I thought it was.

Those calls rarely go against the home team though, especially late in the game.

    agree but it won't happen

I thought the final possession of the 3rd quarter rapped up the Spurs/Mavs series nicely, Spurs miss two wide open looks at 3's and then Kidd buries one on the other end. We just didn't shoot the ball well the entire series which, to be honest, should have made us an easier out.

I am in love with the Celtics/Bulls playoff series. How can a round 1 game between non-rivals be SO INTENSE?!?!

There have now been more OT periods played than games played. That's insane. And if you discount game 3, the two teams have scored pretty much the exact same amount of points: except that Chicago has 1 more.

level? The bulls are not even a team, they certainly don't play like one, especially on the defensive end. Pathetic display of team defense and offense yesterday. Hi, I'm Derrick Rose, I'm the PG, I walk the ball up the court and hand if off the Ben Gordon, any questions?

only game I didn't watch was the game 3 blowout. Yes, Rose had a lot of great moments, too bad Ben didn't let him have more. It was painful to watch Gordon black-hole the Bulls out of contention a few times in Game 7. I guess live/die by the sword but he was also a huge liability of defense.

Bulls seemed best when Miller/Hinrich/Thomas were getting involved early, never happened in game 7 cuz Gordon, even on a bum leg, seemed to want to do it all on offense. There were a few possessions in the first half where he penetrated and passed to thomas/miller which worked nicely, too bad he forgot those as soon as they happened.

i just think howard is gonna cause boston a shit load of problems in the middle. Big baby and Perkins are all we got and they were in a shitload of foul trouble esp early in most of the games this series.

I think I'm the only person, who after watching the first round playoff series, feels that CLE is going to roll whoever wins that series. I don't really think it matters much (I'd prefer BOS though).

wait maybe i'm not the only one.

we'll lose to the lakers in game 7 to some miracle full court shot at the buzzer by their backup center or something like that though, so i'm not getting too excited.

    cavs fan here.

random: it seems like every time I watch the magic, whether it be game 1 last night ( ), the boston series, or other, it seems they are getting screwed out of a call.

even when they aren't getting screwed out of a call, you think they are because of sideshow stan.
