2 pairs is a TON more powerful of a hand when each of the cards have paired in your hand.
If you have T8o on a T82r board. That's a whole different and much better two pair than having 55 on a T822 board. In which case any T, any 8 and any pp 66 and better has you destroyed.
Also having a really low card on a 4-flush board is not so good, Having a low card flush on a 3-flush board is *much* better.
I mean, think about it, if everyone has a flush, having a low flush is bad for you. In both of these situations I would argue that you over valued your hand because you look at the relative hand strength.
You thought:
OMG I have a flush, which beats a set, 2 pair, a straight, top pair, and high card!
Instead of: Ick.. I have a low end of a 4-flush which is rather vulnerable, and I really need to be careful with my money here.
